Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan found himself in the midst of a frenzy during a 'Dunki' promotional event in Dubai.
The actor, who flew to Dubai over the weekend to promote his new film, made appearances at grand events that saw fans attending in large numbers. After making appearances at a theatre and a fan-event, SRK stopped over at a club where he entertained fans to some of his hit dance numbers and also took over the microphone to encourage the attendees to catch a screening of his film.
While making his way around the club, a viral video shows enthusiastic fans reaching out to shake SRK's hand. While busy greeting his many fans, the video shows a person grabbing hold of his hand and refusing to let go. The actor is seen struggling to pull his hand away from the fan, who only seemed to let go after his security team stepped in.
SRK was seen calmly walking over to another large group of fans and reaching out to them. Despite his attempts to maintain composure and interact with the crowd, the situation escalated as some other fans tightly clung to his hand.
As the videos of the event circulate widely on social media, fans express their concern for the actor's safety while celebrating the love and adulation that continues to define Shah Rukh's illustrious career.
While at the club, Shah Rukh got fans hooting and screaming as he danced to his song 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' and also gave an upbeat performance to the track 'Lutt Putt Gaya'.
'Dunki' hits the big screens this weekend on December 21.
