SFF under fire for 'racist' tweet comparing Nationals MP to Kim Jong-un

The Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party (SFF) has been labelled "racist" after tweeting a picture comparing Nationals MP Wes Fang to North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un.

On Monday, Mr Fang tweeted a picture of NSW Opposition Leader Michael Daley and SFF MP Robert Borsak in conversation and described it as a "dirty deal".

Labor and the SFF have cut a preference deal in two regional seats ahead of the NSW election on March 23.

In response, the SFF's official account tweeted a picture of US President Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un, asking what deals Mr Fang was making.

Mr Fang has Singaporean heritage.

The tweet has now been removed.

"It's clearly racism and there's no room in politics for racism," Mr Fang told the ABC.

"If there's one good thing that comes out of today, it's that people will actually see the Shooters for who they really are and that is a group of extremists."

The tweet puts Labor under more pressure for the preference swap with the minor party.

Yesterday, Mr Daley faced questions about the deal after the mass shooting in Christchurch injected the issue of gun control into the state election campaign.

"Does Michael Daley think that it's OK to allow racism in politics?" Mr Fang said.

"We know what racism and extremism does — if Labor don't act today they're condoning the actions of the Shooters and their condoning this racism."

When questioned about the tweet Mr Daley said: "I can't be responsible for what they say."

The SFF tweeted it was a "response to constant trolling" from Mr Fang.

They also released a short statement.

"It was bad political satire," it said.

"A troll in response to a troll, deleted within five minutes of posting."
