'Sexist' yobs shout 'get your t*** out' to Bishop Auckland MP as she walks home from the shops

A Tory MP claims yobs told her to 'get my t*** out' as she walked home from the shops.

Bishop Auckland MP Dehenna Davison tweeted that she was also called a "Tory c***" in a shocking incident.

The 27-year-old is the former Labour heartland's first Conservative MP in over 80 years having snatched it from Helen Goodman back in December 's General Election.

She won it with a majority of almost 8,000 as her party made unprecedented gains across the North East.

However on Saturday she revealed the vile abuse she had suffered while walking in the street.

"Walking home from the shop and someone shouted my name from a car," tweeted the politician to her 33,000 followers.

"The first lad told me to get my t*ts out. The other called me a Tory c***."

She then quipped: "It’s great that people are starting to recognise their new MP, but I think I might need to work on the messaging."

Supporters jumped to her defence, slamming the "vulgar" and "sexist" yobs who abused her.

Another added: "Real women’ rise above these idiots - it says more about them."

Just recently the MP bravely opened up on World Suicide Prevention Day how she once considered taking her own life after enduring a string of tragedies.

That included the death of her dad while she was still in school.
