The Irish accent has regained its rightful crown as the sexiest accent in the world - and it's all thanks to a Dub.
Organised by Onepoll.com, they surveyed 5,000 men and women who said the Irish accent gives them full on fanny flutters (here's looking at you, Maura Higgins)
The Irish bet off close competition from the Italians and Scots to climb to the top after being overtaken by the Kiwi (New Zealand) and South African accent in 2018.
A spokesman for OnePoll said that Castleknock native, actor Colin Farrell was one of the main reasons why the Irish rose to the top once again.
They said: “High-profile stars such as Colin Farrell have helped bring the accent more to the fore."
The pollsters added that there are over 200 international locations with an estimated 6,500 languages in use these days.
