Sex party guests to be tested for coronavirus before taking part in millionaires' orgy

Organisers of a high-end sex party are making wannabe participants take Covid-19 tests.

Only those who test negative will be allowed to take part in the millionaires’ orgy planned for this Saturday at a private villa in the jet-set seaside resort of Comporta, an hour from Lisbon.

More than 40 people have already signed up for the love-in, styled on the 1999 Stanley Kubrick film Eyes Wide Shut starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.

Rental of a private suite at the property is said to cost £2,700 per couple, although singles can attend without partners.

The party is being organised by private members’ society Purilia, which boasts on its website of offering “luxurious” experiences for “entrepreneurs, public figures and celebrities.”

A similar event held earlier in the year in Lisbon is said to have been attended by politicians, football players and TV stars.

Candidates who are not yet members of the society have been told they must undergo a “rigorous” selection process thought to include interviews before being admitted.

Venetian masks will be handed to participants at Saturday’s event so they can protect their identities.

The location of the villa where the sex party will take place is being kept a closely-guarded secret.

Regional health chiefs say the sordid breaches strict limits on the number of people who can attend private parties, but the organisers have told local media they have obtained permission to stage the event.

It is being billed on Purilia’s Facebook page as “Comporta Private cocktail. Moet & Chandon.”

Cocktails are due to be followed by a fancy dinner.

Luxury limousines are being laid on to ferry guests to the secret location.

A message from the organisers said: “Purilla exists to serve the social and entertainment needs of our members and guests by maintaining the highest standards of excellence in all endeavours, by providing creative and culturally rich programmes, and by providing a safe and comfortable environment for personal exploration.”

Citing French high-society designer Coco Chanel to promote Saturday’s event, they added: “I love luxury. And luxury lies not in richness and ornateness but in the absence of vulgarity.

“Vulgarity is the ugliest word in our language. I stay in the game to fight it.”

Comporta is on the Alentejo coast just over an hour from Lisbon.

Apart from the Portuguese, French and British people make up most of its visitors.

Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni have been on holiday there and Madonna has posted videos of her on horseback on its beaches.
