Sex attack on train station platform sparks police hunt for creep responsible

Police are hunting a man who sexually assaulted a woman on a train platform.

The creep struck at Dalreoch station on the Glasgow line after following the victim to a waiting shelter at 8pm on Saturday, February 20.

British Transport Police describe the man as Asian, with a short dark beard, around 5ft 6ins in height, between 30 and 35-years-old and with an average build. He was wearing a grey woolly hat and cream, or beige, winter jacket and spoke with an Indian accent.

Officers want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, in particular a woman who spoke with the victim at the time before then boarding a train to Helensburgh.
