Sex attack on London to Glasgow train sparks police hunt for creep responsible

Detectives are hunting a man who sexually assaulted a woman on a train travelling from London to Glasgow.

British Transport Police are appealing for information after the creep approached the woman at around 9.55pm on Tuesday 24 August and made inappropriate comments.

He then inappropriately touched her before getting off the train at Glasgow Central.

BTP have issued a description of the man and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The man is described as a white male in his late 40s, approximately 5’7, with short brown hair and a distinctive mole on the right-hand side of his face. He was wearing a dark grey polo shirt with a black leather jacket and blue jeans.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to assist their investigation.
