Sex And The City in line for reboot without Kim Cattrall after vicious SJP feud

A new Sex And The City series is in the works, according to insiders.

But, reports Page Six, the planned limited reboot for HBO Max will not include Kim Cattrall, following her long-running feud with Sarah Jessica Parker.

An industry insider tells the New York Post's column that while the reboot will otherwise include all the original stars, Kim, who played Samantha Jones, will not be appearing.

If true, Kim's absence will not come as a surprise to longtime fans of the franchise.

Sex And The City is 'to reboot without Kim Cattrall' after Sarah Jessica Parker 'feud'; the franchise's last outing was the 2010 film Sex And The City 2 (CHANNEL 5)

The 64-year-old actress, one of the four women around whom the much-loved show's plotline revolved, has made no secret of her dislike for Jessica, who played Carrie Bradshaw.

Following the 2018 death of Cattrall’s brother, SJP, 55, was one of many stars to share their condolences online.

But in response, Kim wrote on Instagram : "Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven't already) You are not my family. You are not my friend."

After refusing to sign up for a third SATC film, Kim told fans in 2017 the decision was "an empowered decision in my life to end one chapter and start another" (Stuart C. Wilson)

Following the end of SATC in 2004, both Kim and Sarah Jessica worked on two subsequent feature films.

But initial plans for a third movie were shelved when Kim refused to sign up.

She told fans in 2017 the decision was "an empowered decision in my life to end one chapter and start another".
