Kim Cattrall has aroused suspicion that she was taking aim at her former Sex And The City co-stars in her latest Instagram offering.
The 64-year-old star took to the social media site on Tuesday to post a video where she could be seen cuddling up to sweet puppy, named Pixel, who appears in dark comedy Sensitive Skin with her.
In the footage, Kim teased: "Mmm nice breath" towards Pixel and added a caption reading: "When your co-star is a real dog."
Fans suspected that Kim's comments were a jibe and asked the Mannequin actress if her comment was 'shade' at her former co-stars from Sex and The City.
One quizzed: "I’m sensing a little shade here?"
A second added: "Is this shade?" and a third joined in: "And just like that… she got a dog... The costar you deserve!... the shade."
Fans often look for hidden meanings in Kim's social media posts after the British beauty - who played Samantha Jones in the hit HBO series - after she refused to take part in the reunion with former co-stars Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Sarah Jessica Parker.
She has made no secret of her strained relationship with her SATC co-stars in the past.
In January Sarah-Jessica Parker,55, famed for playing Carrie Bradshaw, announced that a SATC revival was coming.
The reboot will be names And Just Like That with Sarah returning to her role as Carrie with Davis, 55, and Nixon, 54, reprising their original characters Charlotte York Goldenblatt and Miranda Hobbes.
All three stars will also act as executive producers on the project.
Parker spoke out to address Cattrall's absence when a fan told her: "Happy to see you back but will miss Kim/Samantha."
"We will too. We loved her so. X," said Parker while also telling another concerned viewer: "She will always be there. And we are so excited. X."
Parker also dismissed rumours of a fallout between her and Cattrall.
"No. I don't dislike her. I've never said that. Never would. Samantha isn't part of this story. But she will always be part of us. No matter where we are or what we do. X," she said.
According to HBO Max, And Just Like That will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.
Fans will be treated to ten brand new half-hour episodes.
