Emma Lomax was inspired by her mother to launch a business designing personalised embroidered bags. Lomax, who previously worked as a textiles teacher, started off working from her kitchen to keep costs down and is now selling her product with several large retailers. She uses Xero to keep on top of her finances, in particular to manage her invoices, and for sending orders across to India.
