Sevilla troll Arsenal boss Unai Emery on social media amid speculation of Luis Enrique 'contact'

Arsenal's defeat to Leicester on Saturday leaves Unai Emery under increasing pressure.

Goals from Jamie Vardy and James Maddison was enough for a 2-0 win for the Foxes, a result which leaves the Gunners sixth in the Premier League table, eight points behind Manchester City who occupy fourth.

Arsenal have now gone four Premier League games without picking up a win, and makes the aim of finishing in the top four at the end of the season a harder task than ever.

As a result, Emery is the current favourite with the bookmakers to be the next manager to lose his job in the league.

Former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has been linked with the role should Emery be sacked, and reports have even claimed that head of football Raul Sanllehi has made contact.

However, it is understood Emery is not in imminent danger of losing his job, with the board retaining confidence in his ability to turn results around.

Amid the speculation, Emery's former club Sevilla posted an amusing tweet on Sunday evening ahead of their local derby against Real Betis.

The La Liga club's official Twitter account posted: 'Good ebening everyone!!' followed by a winking face emoji.

This is thought to be a gentle dig at Emery's pronunciation of 'Good evening', which he routinely says at the beginning of every television interview and press conference.

Emery managed Sevilla for three years, winning a hat-trick of Europa League titles in each of his three seasons at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.

He then left for Paris Saint-Germain in 2016, before joining Arsenal in May 2018.
