La Liga giants Sevilla have professed their love for the Scottish Premiership on Twitter.
The Spanish side's social media account lavished praise on the Scottish game during the full card of Boxing Day fixtures, with most leagues across the continent already on a winter break.
Following Sunday's matches, the official Sevilla Twitter account posted a clip of Scotland 's famous wild celebrations after their Euro 2020 play-off win in Serbia alongside the caption: 'Sevilla admin when they see the cinch is on.'
The video was then followed up with a meme showing Sevilla's social media admin watching the Scottish Premiership and English Premier League fixtures from afar, with La Liga players enjoying down-time during the festive period.
The unexpected posts promoted a wave of replies from Scottish football fans, with one follower tweeting: 'You earned yourself a follow, admin.'
Several other bemused onlookers simply replied saying: 'What is the cinch?'
The serial Europa League winners are currently in the midst of an unexpected title battle with Real Madrid, and drew 1-1 with Barcelona in their final match before the winter shutdown on December 21.
Julen Lopetegui's side will resume their challenge for honours on January 3 against Cadiz, but they'll have to make do without the delights of Scottish football, with the Premiership now entering its own winter break until January 17.
