Severn Trent Water apologises for water supply issues across Nottingham

Customers across parts of Nottingham reported a problem with their water supply on Tuesday evening.

Severn Trent Water has confirmed that some customers in the NG1, NG3 and NG5 were affected by the issue, from around 8pm on Tuesday, September 10.

A spokeswoman for Severn Trent confirmed that the problem was resolved and water supply was back to normal by 10pm.

She added: "We’re really sorry to anyone who experienced problems with their water supply last night in parts of Nottingham.

"As soon as we were made aware there was an issue, our teams attended and quickly got the water back on for everybody.

"Again, we’re sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused."
