It's time to say goodbye to warm and sunny days in the ACT.
Canberra is set for a downpour this weekend with wet weather expected to hang around until the end of next week.
The wet weather is forecast to hit on Friday afternoon but Saturday will bring the biggest downpour.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) forecast up to 40mm across Canberra on Saturday and up to 60mm could fall in the Brindabella Ranges.
BoM duty forecaster Alex Majchrowski said thunderstorms were likely on Saturday and could be severe.

"Late on Friday evening we're expecting a cold front to enter [NSW] and that will act as a wedge to lift all that moisture up ... we could see some widespread falls and some thunderstorm activity," he said.
"If thunderstorms do develop there is a chance they could be severe.
"The storms should be moving relatively quickly so hopefully it won't be too bad."
The ACT had already surpassed October average rainfall ahead of Saturday's downpour with 76mm recorded compared to the monthly average of 62mm.
Flooding has not been forecast but BoM expects river levels will rise and will be watching out for potential flooding.
The temperature is set to plummet next week with a maximum of 11 degrees expected on Monday.
Mr Majchrowski said overnight temperatures wouldn't dip too low, hovering around 7 degrees.
It should warm up later in the week with 17 degrees and rain forecast on Thursday.
Light to moderate showers will persist throughout next week in a month which has already surpassed average rainfall.
