Britt Lower, star of 'Severance', cleverly included a hidden message on her Emmy acceptance speech notes.
While accepting the award for Lead Actress in a Drama Series, fans noticed the phrase 'LET ME OUT' written on her paper.
This message directly referenced her character, Helly R., in 'Severance', who makes the same desperate plea.
Fans widely praised Lower's 'iconic' and 'meta' tribute to her role in the critically acclaimed series.
'Severance' received 27 nominations but ultimately secured two awards, including Lower's and one for co-star Tramell Tillman.
