Several vehicles damaged after children seen throwing items onto M60

Several cars were damaged after children were seen throwing items onto the M60.

Police say a number of vehicles were targeted on the motorway near Northenden last night on Friday (September 3).

No one was injured but officers say further enquiries are set to be carried out.

In a tweet, North West Motorway Police said: “There have been a number of vehicles damaged on the M60 near to Northenden due to youths throwing items from the side of the motorway.

“Do you know what your kids have been up tonight? Thankfully no one injured tonight but further enquires will be carried out.”
