The Pittsburgh Steelers announced a huge contract extension for cornerback Joe Haden on Sunday to keep him with the team for the next three seasons. This got us thinking about how the salary cap is distributed between starters and reserves.
We went through and ranked the 20 highest-paid players on the team in terms of their 2019 salary cap hit and were shocked to see around four guys on the list who aren’t starters being paid well ahead of those who are. Check out this list and let us know if there are any surprises for you.
