Several protesters killed in anti-military protests in Sudan

At least four protesters are killed in a crackdown on huge anti-military protests in Sudan. The military took over the country in October and dozens have since died in demonstrations demanding the return of civilian rule.

Also, a stream of South Africans flow through Cape Town's cathedral to say their last goodbyes to Desmond Tutu. The Nobel Peace Prize laureate passed away aged 90 last Sunday. Despite his rich legacy, he lies in state in the simplest of caskets.

And there's disappointment and anger at the US's decision to delist Ethiopia from the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA). President Joe Biden has cut the country off from the duty-free access scheme over the ongoing war with Tigrayan fighters.
