Several Luas trams 'out of service' until next week due to crashes with delays expected

A number of Luas trams will remain 'out of service' until next week after being involved in road crashes, it has been confirmed.

The decrease in trams means that there will be knock-on delays for services until the carriages are fixed.

As a result, customers are warned to allow for extra travel times until the trams are back in service.

A Luas spokesperson said that services on both the red and green line will run on average every six minutes instead of every 3-4 minutes during peak travel.

They also apologised to customers for any inconvenience caused.
