Several former Bengals among first-year eligible candidates for Hall of Fame in 2024

While the focus rightfully centers on past greats like Willie Anderson and Ken Anderson, several former Cincinnati Bengals are now first-year eligible candidates for the Hall of Fame in 2024

Former Bengals now eligible for the Hall of Fame include Leon Hall, Adam Jones, Jermaine Gresham and Reggie Nelson.

While none have a great shot at the hall per se, it’s interesting to see the past generations of Bengals players progress to this point.

Hall is the most notable and a fan favorite as that scrappy, aggressive corner who was dominant against the run. He was a first-round pick by the Bengals in 2007 and played there through the 2015 season, ultimately playing in 152 games with 540 tackles, six forced fumbles and 27 interceptions.

On the heels of Ken Riley finally making the hall, Willie Anderson could get there next year in his third time in a row as a finalist, while Ken Anderson could be a senior candidate and make it.
