On Thursday, the SEC coaches preseason teams were announced, and quite a few Georgia Bulldogs were recognized. On the first team were OT Andrew Thomas, RB D’Andre Swift, S J.R. Reed, and K Rodrigo Blankenship.
Representing UGA on the second team were OG Solomon Kindley and QB Jake Fromm. On the third team were TE Charlie Woerner, OG Ben Cleveland, and DL Tyler Clark.
Notable names from other schools on the first team included Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa, Auburn DL Derrick Brown, and LSU CB Grant Delpit, among others. The Crimson Tide led all schools with 16 selections. The Dawgs finished in second with ten.
