Several caravans have set up camp on the seafront in Weston-super-Mare.
Around ten of the vehicles parked on the Beach Lawns from around 7pm yesterday evening (Tuesday, August 11).
Pictures taken from the scene show a large number of vehicles spaced well apart from each other, Somerset Live reports.
A local resident said that the number of vehicles parked there reached double figures.

The current group moved onto the seafront on a day that saw temperatures soar well into the thirties amid a scorching heatwave.
