Several Bristol City players set to change agency alongside Liverpool and Leicester City stars

Several Bristol City players are set to change agency after Key Sport Management was taken over by global giant Wasserman.

Callum O'Dowda, Andreas Weimann, Zak Vyner and U23s forward Freddie Hinds are all currently represented by KSM and will change agency after the takeover was completed following three months of talks.

Premier League stars Joe Gomez, Jamie Vardy and Tyrone Mings are all currently represented by KSM and the Bristol City players will join team mate Benik Afobe and boss Lee Johnson in being represented by Wasserman Media Group.

A deal was agreed for the takeover last Friday, as revealed by Sky Sports news today , and the pool of 90 clients currently managed by KSM will now joined Wasserman.

The Los Angeles based agency are one of the biggest in the world and represent athletes from the world of football, basketball, baseball and a host of other sports worldwide.

Casey Wasserman, company chairman and CEO told Sky Sports News: "Key have done an incredible job within the English football market. Their impressive client list is testament to the hard work Steve Denos, Warwick Horton, John Morris and Tom Soden have done and will significantly add to our portfolio.

"The addition of Key to Wasserman's football agency strengthens Wasserman's position in the global industry as the company continues to build out their leading football business."

KSM recently oversaw O'Dowda signing a new contract at Ashton Gate after months of speculation over his future.

The midfielder had been linked with moves to Leeds United and Fulham but instead committed his future to Robins, signing a deal until 2022.

Zak Vyner also signed a new deal in 2018 until 2021 and both will now come under the Wasserman wing.

Staff at both KSM's offices in London have been told their jobs are safe and all players are currently being informed of the takeover.

Wasserman were in talks in the summer to purchase the French agency Lagardère Sport and Entertainment as their global expansion continues, but so far a deal has not materialised.
