Several big names unlikely to play on Thursday against the Cleveland Browns

The Washington Redskins are preparing to travel to Cleveland later this week to kick off their preseason schedule against the Browns.

However, as they get ready to go, head coach Jay Gruden has informed the media that there are a handful of players who are unlikely to play, some of which may not even make the trip.

Some of the most notable names up in the air are Derrius Guice and Adrian Peterson, as well as Montez Sweat and Greg Stroman.

It’s important to note that these players likely would not see the field very much even if at 100% health, but recent knicks and bruises have held them out of a couple of practices in the past week, so it’s not crazy to hold them out of a preseason game as well.
