Seventh Kazakh journalist dies in road accident

A journalist who died after being knocked down by a truck is the seventh Kazakh journalist to be killed in a road accident since 2002, and the third this year. Like other victims, Saken Tauzhanov wrote for news outlets - in his case, three websites - that have carried material critical of President Nursultan Nazarbayev and his associates.
