Seven women who stole the show during the Grand National festival at Aintree

The Grand National has been and gone for another year and what an event it was.

Tens of thousands of people attended the three day festival at Aintree racecourse which saw Tiger Roll win the Grand National on Saturday.

But as we all know, the Grand National is as much about the fashion as the racing and there really were some show- stopping outfits that caught our eye this year.

Simple, yet stunning

Monochrome was a huge trend this year and this racegoer looked really striking in her off-the-shoulder midi dress, with skyscraper heels and statement hat. Perfection.

Splash of colour

These racegoers went for bold hats in bright colours to complete their look. A splash of colour particularly popped out when teamed with a bright white dress and simple up do.

Pretty pastel

Chloe Williams, 24, went for a soft, pastel colour, matching her accessories to her dress. Her look was classic races and one of the most elegant we saw all weekend.

Showstopping head-dresses

This year, Ladies Day was less about the dresses and more about what people were wearing on their head. Forget simple hats, we're talking eye-catching head-dresses like we've never seen at Aintree before. These two ladies were definitely the pick of the bunch with their stunning choices.
