Seven teens arrested after SUV crashes into Oxley house following report of dangerous driving 150km away in Blackbutt

Police have arrested seven teenagers after a stolen SUV spotted driving dangerously near Blackbutt crashed into a house 150 kilometres away in Brisbane's west.

Six of the teenagers were charged overnight. 

The Queensland Ambulance Service said there were seven people in the black BMW when it crashed.

Police were first alerted to the car driving dangerously near Blackbutt in the South Burnett region about 9:00am.

It was later sighted near Brisbane before crashing into a house on Oxley Station Road in Oxley about 12:30pm.

Police have not said whether they were in pursuit of the car at the time.

Nearby resident Eddie Rukundo was inside his home when he heard a loud crash.

"I came out and saw police cars everywhere. I heard them say 'get on the ground, get on the ground' and that they have tasers," he said.

"It was kind of scary because there was so much noise."

Six children who were the occupants of a stolen vehicle have been treated for soft tissue injuries at the Queensland Children's Hospital.

An ambulance service spokesperson said a man believed to be the occupant of the house was also being treated for chest pains and soft tissue injuries at Princess Alexandra Hospital.
