A cyclist is fighting for her life after being hit by a car in north London.

The 43-year-old woman was hit yards from Seven Sisters station in High Road’s junction with Broad Lane.

Police were called by London Ambulance Service paramedics at about 1.10am on Sunday.

She was taken to hospital and the Met said on Sunday afternoon that “she remains in a critical condition”.

The driver stopped at the scene and there have been no arrests.

Officers said they want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision, or who may have dashcam footage.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 020 8246 9820, or 101 quoting reference 469 of February 17.
