Seven people in Liverpool are celebrating today after discovering they've won a cash prize, all thanks to their postcode.
The seven neighbours have won £1,000 each, thanks to their lucky postcode.
People who live in Somerville Road in Waterloo won the cash when L22 9QY was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Thursday, October 15, 2020.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners.
He said: “A big congratulations to all the winners in L22 9QY.
"I hope you have fun spending your winnings!"
Last month four neighbours on Mullion Road in Croxteth landed the windfall when L11 0DA was announced as a People’s Postcode Lottery winner on September 14.
And a further three people on Lancaster Road in Huyton won £1000 each as L36 1UP was drawn.
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted on behalf of the Postcode Community Trust which provides funding to improve community health & wellbeing, increase participation in arts & physical recreation and reduce isolation
