Seven more people have died in Greater Manchester's hospitals after testing positive for coronavirus.
The region's coronavirus hospital death toll has reached 5,989, the latest NHS figures show.
It is the highest number of deaths recorded in the 24 hour hospital data since June 24 - the joint highest daily total since March 25.
Three more deaths were confirmed by Stockport NHS Foundation Trust in its 24 hour Covid figures.

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust and Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust all recorded one more death each.

These are deaths where the person had tested positive for the virus or where Covid-19 was mentioned on their death certificate.
NHS England's daily figures sometimes include previously uncounted deaths that took place several days - or even weeks ago.
They do not include deaths in care homes or community settings.
