Seven men arrested after violent disturbance outside house in Middleton

Seven men have been arrested after a violent disturbance broke out in Middleton.

Police were called to reports of a large disturbance outside an address on Whitecroft Meadow at around 7.10pm on Sunday, May 31.

Three men were injured during the incident.

One of the men suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment

He has since been discharged.

Seven men, aged between 21 and 31, have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

All seven remain in custody for questioning.

Greater Manchester Police continue to investigate and are appealing for anyone with further information to come forward.

A statement from GMP said: "Police were called at around 7.10pm on Sunday 31 May 2020 to reports of a large disturbance outside an address on Whitecroft Meadow in Middleton

"Seven men – aged between 21 and 31 – have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and remain in custody for questioning

"Three men reported injured – one of the men suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
