Seven lovely Irish pubs nobody seems to want despite thousands of viewers

There are currently hundreds of pubs and restaurants listed as for sale across Ireland from less than €100,000 to over €500,000.

While opening a pub or restaurant might not seem like a great idea given the current climate - the Covid pandemic will pass so it might be a good opportunity to bag a bargain.

However, amongst the hundreds of properties for sale there are some that have been listed for years and years.

Yet nobody appears to have decided to take a gamble on them - which we can't understand why.

Here's some of these properties that appear to be great opportunities, have decent prices but have yet to find a suitable buyer.

This colourful pub in Clare

O'Shea's Pub in Clonlara, Clare has been listed on the market since 2014 which is now over 2,200 days ago.

The property is still running as a pub so has a liquor licence while also boasting a bar and lounge, rear smoking area and upstairs accommodation comprising of three bedrooms.

The property was renewed on Daft in the last three months and is still looking for a buyer at €280,000.

This old fashioned spot in Limerick

This Limerick spot, TCs Bar, is on the market since  2015.

Inside you will find 523 sq.ft on the ground floor which is the public house with residential accommodation upstairs.

Long established Cork pub

This easy on the eye pub is for sale since 2015 but has yet to get a buyer despite hundreds viewing it online.

Cottrells in Newmarket, Co Cork comprises of a bar and large lounge and still has its trading license.

Beautiful pub in Sligo

This beautifully decorated interior belongs to a pub that's been up for sale since 2015 again.

It has been fully refurbished in recent years and is being viewed by hundreds of people - yet hasn't gotten a buyer yet.

This public house is perfectly located in Kiltimagh, just a stone's throw away from Castlebar, Knock and Claremorris.

Listed since 2016, O'Looneys is being sold for just €125,000 and is ideally located just off the Square in Kilrush Town.

It is a mid-terraced two-story pub that has a small yard and large storage shed to the rear. The property accommodates a bar, lounge, male and female toilets, pool room and coal room.
