Seven Kings stabbing: Man charged after three men killed during 'street brawl' in east London

A man has been charged after three men were killed in east London.

Harinder Sharma, 22, Narinder Singh, 26, and 34-year-old Baljit Singh died when violence erupted close to Seven Kings railway station near Ilford on Sunday evening.

Gurjeet Singh, 29, of South Park Crescent, Ilford was charged on Tuesday with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

He will appear in custody at Redbridge Magistrates’ Court today and remains under investigation in connection with the killings.

Another man who was arrested in connection with the deaths remains in police custody.

Police said enquiries are continuing. They do not believe the killings are gang-related.

The force added that they are not seeking to make any further arrests for murder.
