Seven items shoppers are struggling to get from supermarkets as lockdown measures get stricter

With the number of coronavirus cases continuing to rise and more people self isolating, supermarkets are still warning customers not to stockpile.

Back in March and April supermarket shelves were left bare as thousands of shoppers starting to panic buy during the national lockdown.

The Government has so far not placed the country back into a national lockdown, but has instead placed areas such as Merseyside and the North East into local lockdowns. And, while we have visited supermarkets across Liverpool since tougher restrictions were announced and found shelves well stocked, there appears to be some items which shoppers are struggling to get hold of at times.
