It is no secret that famous celebrities love coming to Ireland.
Stars enjoy taking in the breathtaking scenery, friendly locals and great craic when they come to the Emerald Isle.
They are generally left alone by Irish fans when out and about which can be a refreshing change from the hordes of people vying for selfies elsewhere.
While Dublin city is usually the first stop for musicians on tour or actors heading to location, there are lots of villages and towns across the country which have been visited by a famous face or two.
Here are some of the notable celebrity spottings in Ireland in recent years:
Kilcar, Co Donegal
The coastal village of Kilcar in southwest Donegal is regularly visited every summer by one of Hollywood's best-known couples.
Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick own a holiday home in the area and are often spotted by locals taking in the peace and quiet away from the noise of New York City.
The family even spent Christmas in the house in 2019, and even attended the All Ireland Football Final in 2014 in full Donegal colours.
Given the travel restrictions associated with the pandemic, they haven't been able to visit the area in a while.
Sarah Jessica Parker posted on Instagram in October that she was missing the area, saying "nothing beats the fresh air in the hills of Donegal".
Dalkey, Co Dublin

Hollywood actor Matt Damon became somewhat of a local in the village of Dalkey in Co Dublin last year.
SuperValu bag in hand, he was seen out about numerous times over his three-month stay in the suburb just as the coronavirus hit last March.
He described Killiney Hill as "incredible" and his time in Dublin as "like a fairytale", with him and his family "really loving" their stay.
Damon also appeared in another Irish town while filming Ben Affleck's movie 'The Last Duel' last year.
The castle town of Cahir in Co Tipperary not only played host to the superstar last September, but also Adam Driver from 'Star Wars' and 'Killing Eve' star Jodie Comer.
Doolin, Co Clare
While the Trump family have visited their golf course in Doolin several times over the years, locals were never treated to a trad session by them in a pub.
That's exactly what Hollywood actor John C Reilly did during one of his many trips to Ireland a few years back.
The 'Step Brothers' comic treated revellers to a rendition of 'The Wild Rover' in Gus O'Connor's Pub in Doolin, much to the delight of locals.
Wearing a tweed cap, he fitted right in and entertained fans by taking pictures and having the craic.
He was praised by those in the pub for his lack of airs and graces, queuing up at the bar like everyone else and belting out the tunes with a trad group.
Killybegs, Co Donegal
Donegal is an extremely popular celeb magnet, with another town in the county hosting a group of Hollywood stars a few years ago.
The fishing town of Killybegs was buzzing with excitement when a crew of famous faces arrived for a few pints and a round of golf.
Actors Paul Rudd, Peter Dinklage, Bobby Cannavale and Joe Lo Truglio all painted the town red for a few days in 2014.
The crew even donned paddy caps when out with locals in Slieveleague.
After a pub crawl around Killybegs, they moved on to Galway and Dublin to continue their Irish trip.
Ballyfin, Co Laois
The country couldn't believe it in 2015 when one of the most famous couples in the world chose to spend their honeymoon in Co Laois.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had what was probably one of the most unglamorous honeymoons you could imagine after tying the knot in Italy.

The multi-millionaires celebrated with none other than a trip to Portlaoise cinema, much to the bemusement of Irish fans.
Their accommodation while in Laois was a much more lavish affair, however.
They stayed in Ballyfin Demesne in the midlands village, a five-star hotel once listed as one of the world's 'top hideaways'.
Bantry, Co Cork
Cork is often frequented by celebs thanks to its thriving food scene and beautiful coastal areas and beaches.
Oscar-winning actor Jeremy Irons even calls the village of Kilcoe in west Cork home, having restored the 400-year old Kilcoe Castle near Ballydehob.
But it was somewhat of a revelation when model-turned-actress Emily Ratajkowski shared that she spent her summers growing up in Bantry in west Cork.
On a trip to the coastal town in 2015, she described Bantry as her "home away from home" and enjoyed a pint of Guinness during her stay.
The Los Angeles native has also called Ireland her "second home", so it wouldn't be a surprise if she was spotted back on Irish soil in the future.
Galway city
Galway, while not a town or village, deserves a mention given the array of celebs who have passed through the city's cobblestoned streets.
Ed Sheeran even wrote a song about it, having spent years busking on the busy streets as a teen.
He filmed his tune 'Galway Girl' in the city along with Irish actress Saoirse Ronan and a few of the lads who appeared in the crime drama 'Love/Hate'.
There is no denying Sheeran's adoration for Ireland, but other international names have enjoyed the culture and entertainment in Galway.
A few years ago, 'It Wasn't Me' singer Shaggy settled in for a pint of Guinness in the city, while 'Whiplash' star Miles Teller visited the area while travelling around Ireland with his girlfriend and granny.
