Seven Irish pubs you can secure right now on AirBnB for you and your friends ahead of summer staycations

As it becomes increasingly likely that travelling abroad will not be an option for many holiday makers this summer, alternative staycation plans are a must.

Whether you’re planning a solo getaway or bringing your entire bubble, here are some “fully decked out” AirBnB venues that are sure to be on every Irish person’s radar for summer.

“The Pub with No Beer” Conroy’s Old Bar, Co Tipperary

Described as a place where time has “literally stood still”, Conroy’s Old bar is a converted, original village bar, which the owners describe as “characterful” and “completely dry of alcohol, makes it perfect for couples and families too.”

With one king-bed bedroom and one double-bed bedroom, the AirBnB is full of all the necessary amenities such as Wifi, free parking, cable TV, and even a travel cot for the little ones.

O’Mainnin’s Cottage Bar, Glenamaddy, Co Galway

A quiet one-bedroom cottage, located in the quite Co Galway, this serves as a perfect romantic holiday for couples.

Contrary to its name, the cottage comes with full kitchen amenities and spacious lounge, so couples won’t be falling over themselves for lack of space.

The built-in bar is located in the lounge next to a cozy fireplace to relax indoor and away from the hard Irish weather.

New Private Pub, Killarney, Co Kerry

This Airbnb is very person’s Rovers Return or Queen Vic fantasy. A recently closed pub, still contains all the original fittings from when it was open, down to the pool table.

Popular among hen’s party and large family holidays, this venue is able to accommodate up to 22 people.

Guests can relax in the hot tub while taking in the breath-taking views of Clew Bay.

Ireland’s largest self-catering holiday pub, Co Tipperary

It’s exactly what it says on the tin, and tailor made for the friend groups looking for a fun weekend.

The former pub can house up to 16 people, and like previous entries has all its fittings in tact and ready for bookings.

This two-bedroom apartment is ideal for a small group of friends or a young family, with six guests sleeping comfortably here.

Live the high life and enjoy the pool table, piano, cosy underfloor heating and a traditional timber bar.
