Seven bedroom 'exquisite' house with uninterrupted sea views up for sale

A breath taking home offering uninterrupted views across the Irish Sea has gone on the market with an eye watering price tag.

Set back behind electric gates, the house on Warren Drive in Wallasey has a staggering seven bedrooms and five bathrooms and is on the market for a little shy of £1.3m.

Entry is provided via a large reception hall. Dripping in character, the space has fully panelled mahogany walls and stunning stained-glass windows, with the current owners adding to the charm with a grand piano.

There are three reception rooms, two of which are being used as sitting rooms and the third as an office with a feature window.

The kitchen provides an ultra-modern contrast to the remainder of the space, with glossy cream surfaces, splashed of brushed chrome and futuristic furniture pieces. Floor to ceiling windows provide an abundance of light and lead out to the patio where you can really take in the views.

Elsewhere on the ground floor is a boiler room, utility room, a cloakroom with a WC and an integrated double garage.

If the living space currently on offer isn't enough, there is also potential to convert the basement for a number of uses.

The grounds to the rear of the property are fit for a country manor with curved stone steps leading from a patio terrace to the large lawn.

The view from the bottom of the garden, which is bordered by mature shrubbery, really allows you to take in the majesty of the abode, with its ornate brickwork.

The house is on the market with Harper & Woods, which described it as "beautifully presented, stylish and sophisticated" and "providing opulent and contemporary living on an impressive scale".

The average property sold for £319,658 on Warren Drive over the last year, although the majority were flats. Detached homes sold for an average of £925,000.

Overall, sale prices were up by 27% in the last year, but were almost 30% below the 2009 peak of £448,333.
