Seven acts already confirmed to play at Glastonbury Festival 2020

Several big name acts are already confirmed for Glastonbury Festival 2020.

The sell-out festival celebrates its 50th anniversary next summer, and the rumours have been circulating since long before even this year’s event.

Luckily for eager fans there are a couple of artists already confirmed to be playing what could be the biggest festival yet for Glastonbury, reports Bristol Live .

Here’s every act confirmed so far:

Wolf Alice

Michael Eavis confirmed in August the London-based band would play the festival next year.

Wolf Alice previously played on the Pyramid Stage in 2016 as well as the Pilton Party this year and in 2015.

Diana Ross

The legendary soul singer will be performing the Sunday legend slot, in what will not only be her first time playing the festival, but her first appearance in the UK in 12 years.

Fatboy Slim

The veteran DJ confirmed he’d be playing Glastonbury once again, with the 2020 event marking his 19th consecutive appearance at the festival.

Carl Cox

The house and techno icon has been a Glastonbury regular since 2016, and recently told DJ Mag that he’d be playing for the 50th anniversary next year, calling it “a landmark of Glastonbury musical history.”

Mike Skinner

The Streets frontman confirmed via Instagram he’d be playing a back to back set with Chris Lorenzo.

Skinner performed twice at this year’s festival, playing a DJ set at The Rum Shak and with The Streets at the John Peel tent.

Craig Charles

Another Glastonbury staple, Craig confirmed he’d be appearing at the 2020 event on his Funk & Soul Show on Radio 6 Music.

He and his ‘Funk and Soul Club’ played three sets at this year’s festival ‒ at Shangri-La’s Truth Stage, Arcadia’s Bug and The Rabbit Hole’s Funkinghum Palace.

Liam Gallagher (definitely, maybe)

Liam Gallagher has hinted he will return (David Jensen/PA Wire)

The former Oasis frontman said via Twitter this month that he’d be at the 2020 festival, even though he hadn’t been asked to perform.

It would be his third Glastonbury in a row – he performed at this year’s event and in 2017.
