The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index went up 27.38 points, or 1.63%, to close at 1,706.77 points at the end of trading session this morning. The trade value was 38.74 billion baht with 9.73 billion shares traded.
The SET50 index ended at 1,124.24 points, up 22.17 points, or 2.01%, with trade value of 27.34 billion baht.
The MAI index went up 1.26 points, or 0.29%, to close at 441.33 points with total transaction value of 653 million baht.
Analysts attributed it to the approval of the MP election and senatorial selection laws.
