The SET50 index advanced 1.17%, or 12.60 points, to 1,089.23 in trade worth 30 billion baht.
MAI advanced 0.41%, or 2.28 points, to 562.34 in transactions worth 1.9 billion baht.
Institutional investors were net buyers of 1.2 billion baht worth of shares, followed by foreigners (236 million baht) and brokers (89 million baht). Individual investors sold a net 1.5 billion baht.
Year-to-date, institutional investors were net buyers of 72.1 billion baht, followed by brokers (11.7 billion baht). Retail investors were net sellers of 71.3 billion baht, followed by foreigners (12.6 billion baht).
