The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index was down 5.75 points or 0.34% to close at 1,707.38 points on Thursday.
Total trading value was 47.36 billion baht with 8.97 billion shares changing hands.
The SET50 index ended at 1,090.30, down 2.64 points or 0.24%, in trade worth 24.93 billion baht.
The MAI index also closed 3.73 points or 0.66% lower to close at 559.66 with total transaction value of 4.78 billion baht.
Local institutions and retail investors were net buyers of 79.45 million baht and 1.35 billion baht respectively. Brokers and foreign investors were net sellers of 975.12 million baht and 454.79 million baht respectively.
