The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index went down 21.49 points, or 1.32%, to close at 1,607.71 points at the end of trading session this morning. The trade value was 29.25 billion baht, with 7.56 billion shares traded.
The SET50 index ended at 1,059.07 points, down 14.13 points, or 1.32%, with trade value of 22.79 billion baht.
The MAI index went down 6.61 points, or 1.56%, to close at 417.39 points, with total transaction value of 555 million baht.
Analysts attributed it to concern on American and Chinese tariffs that were set to take effect Friday.
