The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index went down 21.01 points, or 1.23%, to close at 1,683.81 points at the end of trading session this morning. The trade value was 26.92 billion baht, with 5.53 billion shares traded.
The SET50 index ended at 1,102.61 points, down 15.24 points, or 1.36%, with trade value of 19.52 billion baht.
The MAI index went down 3.08 points, or 0.67%, to close at 458.63 points, with total transaction value of 448 million baht.
Analysts said the SET followed a regional downward trend on trade disputes between China and the United States.
