SET50 index advanced 0.74%, or 7.40 points, to 1,010.57 in trade worth 25.9 billion baht.
MAI jumped 1.64%, or 8.80 points, to 544.27 in transactions worth 1.4 billion baht.
Individual investors bought 854.22 million baht of shares, followed by brokers (617.3 million) and institutional investors (453 million). Foreigners offloaded shares worth 1.9 billion baht.
Year-to-date, institutional investors were sole net buyers of 58.6 billion baht. Individual investors sold 50.2 billion baht, followed by brokers (3.7billion) and foreigners (4.7 billion).
