MAI jumped 1.36%, or 7.35 points, to 547.42 in transactions worth 1.7 billion baht.
Foreigners bought 1.9 billion baht of shares, followed by brokers (1.1 billion). Institutional investors sold 1.8 billion baht, followed by small investors (1.2 billion baht).
Year-to-date, institutional investors were net buyers of 60 billion baht, followed by foreigners (2.7 billion baht) and brokers (1.7 billion baht). Retail investors were sole net sellers of 64 billion baht.
