MAI gained 0.73%, or 4.10 points, to 569.06 in transactions worth 3.5 billion baht.
Brokers were net buyers of 1 billion baht worth of shares, followed by individual investors (285.4 million baht). Institutional investors sold 736 million baht while foreigners offloaded shares worth 614 million baht.
Year-to-date, institutional investors were net buyers of 61.4 billion baht, followed by foreigners (15.7 billion baht) and brokers (8.6 billion baht). Retail investors were sole net sellers of 85.7 billion baht.
