SET50 index jumped 1.25%, or 13.13 points, to 1,062.29 in trade worth 40.7 billion baht.
MAI climbed 0.25%, or 1.43 points, to 569.28 in transactions worth 2.6 billion baht.
Foreigners were net buyers of 3 billion baht worth of shares, followed by institutional investors (1 billion) and brokers (421.3 million baht). Individual investors were sole net sellers, offloading shares worth 4.5 billion baht.
Year-to-date, institutional investors were net buyers of 63.7 billion baht, followed by foreigners (10 billion baht) and brokers (6.3 billion baht). Retail investors were sole net sellers of 80 billion baht.
