George's Street in Dublin 2 is currently closed after a serious crash this evening.
A pedestrian was "seriously injured" during the incident and she has been rushed to hospital.
Emergency services are at the scene.
A garda spokesperson told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision on South Great George’s Street, Dublin 2.
"A female pedestrian was seriously injured during the incident and has been taken to hospital by Ambulance services.
"The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination and enquiries are ongoing.
"No further information is available at this time."
