A multi-vehicle accident has closed both lanes of the northbound M90 at rush hour. Traffic was initially passing the scene of the accident on the hard shoulder, however long delays and queues are forming. It's not yet known if there are any casualties.
The accident took place at around 4.40pm and police are at the scene. Congestion is currently tailing back to Junction 1 (Pitreavie).
Elsewhere on the roads, the M8 is very slow westbound due to roadworks at junction 4, with an estimated delay of around 25 minutes.
