'Serious' M32 crash causes First Bus diversions around Bristol

A 'serious' crash is causing delays on the M32 and bus service diversions this morning.

A memo from Avon and Somerset Police confirms officers are responding to an 'incident' near junction 2.

First West of England has since confirmed that it will be diverting its Y2 and Y5 services.

These will be diverted onto Fishponds Road, Robertson Road, Warwick Road, then back to Junction 1 of the M32, Newfoundland Way, to then resume the normal route.

Traffic data organisation Inrix states: "M32 southbound entry slip road closed, slow traffic due to serious accident at junction 2, B4058 Stapleton Road (Eastville).

"(It is) affecting traffic getting onto the motorway for Bristol."
